Jess was one of the very first people that I told we were expecting. Thinking that she was going to be SO surprised about our big news I didn't know that I too was going to be EVEN MORE SURPRISED by her news. She too was expecting! I can't even explain how excited we both are for each other and that we can share this experience. (Even though we are 600+ miles apart from each other).
With Brad being in the Navy we never know when we may get to take a vacation, we can write our dates down but the Navy holds all the white out and erasers and well... they erased our leave time to go home in July. Not only did we miss out on seeing our family but I was a little worried that Jess's baby belly and my baby belly weren't going to get to meet! But how dare we worry... God had it all planned out. He brought Jess and Dan out for FOUR WHOLE DAYS! And by then our bellies were showing more and I know it was perfect timing. Even Dan and Brad (though they had met before) got to spend some quality 'man time' and thank goodness they are far apart because we're (Jess and I) pretty sure they would be trouble if they could hang out when ever they wanted too.
