BennettsBeginnings: Bennetts First Easter

Bennett got to meet the Easter Bunny at Bass Pro Shop! (of all places, haha) We went up the weekend before Easter on a rainy saturday afternoon. It's about a 45 min drive to Bass Pro Shop and Bennett was a doll in the car, generally he's not to fussy in the car, only if he's hungry really, or his pacifier falls out (which is now attached to a string so it can be found!) When we got to the Easter Bunny's photo spot he wasn't there! Was a little confused since it was from 11 to 3 and we got there at 12... but in just a few minutes he showed up. Bennett was the youngest one there most of all the other kids I'd say were 4 and older, oh well, it was still fun! Bennett as you can see could have cared less either way if he was there or not, but we had fun taking him! Though the camera man called him a little girl... really dude! he's wearing a blue bunny outfit and a blue hat... and you call him a GIRL! oh well, I know he's a little boy :)

So of course we just enjoy visiting Bass Pro Shop, it really never gets old (probably because we only go about twice a year) so here are a few other photos that we took while we were there.

Amazingly enough we only bought one thing while we were there, a canvas picture of a little boy sitting on a dock with a double barrel shotgun and a yellow lab puppy there with him. Probably one day we can replace it with a picture of Bennett and LuLu doing the same thing, someday.

On Easter weekend Dad and Tris came down to visit and they got to meet Bennett for the 1st time! It was very exciting to have them here and see how Dad would react to the big city :) He didn't seem to mind it too much and spent most of his time (when he wasn't with Bennett) outside soaking up the sun, since there isn't much of that in Michigan at the moment :)

It was so wonderful to have family come to visit. We played cribbage (Brad and I won both games! :) yay!) Made some yummy easter super, ham, carrots and potato salad with cupcakes for desert. And they brought gifts for Bennett! A easter frog, new outfits and a couple of hand made sweaters and a blanket too!
