The great departure

So Sandy was coming, a "record breaking" hurricane and the news forecasted it heading right for us! Seriously I swear that's what they said! Well needless to say the last time that we had even minor rain storm we were out of power for four days and that's just not enjoyable with a toddler and being pregnant. So I fled. Brad couldn't come because you just don't get to do what you want when your in the military. Bennett and I (and in the womb Emory) drove the 11 hours to Michigan in a rain storm and apparently we were heading right for a snow storm as well. We made it. Unharmed no casualties. Bennett was beyond great the whole car ride! No screaming or fussing just playing with his toys and taking three hour naps :) awesome kid. It was nice to be home, seeing the parents one more time before Emory came :)
