More adventures with Journey!

Bennett and Journey went to the Montgomery County Fair on 08-20-2010 (22 weeks and 2 days old) and had a blast!!! Well at least we know that they ate well that day! (Maybe not healthy but they certainly weren't hungry at the end of that night. Jess and I started it all off with a Corn Dog (come on you can't go to the fair and not have a corn dog) and a bucket o' fries, followed by a Gyro and later two snow cones (too big to finish I might add) I think there may have been ice cream in there some where as well, and I don't remember having a funnel cake but I'd be hard pressed to say that I didn't have one.

The Ferris Wheel :)
We didn't ride any rides (after all they are a little sketch at the fair) but we did see the WORLDS BIGGEST HORSE (or however it was advertised) yes it was pretty big! The guys weren't impressed  by the horse so they didn't see it, hahaha. There was a lot of walking and laughing at people (I know I know it sounds mean but half of the fun at the fair is people watching). We also saw some friends from church!

Not to mention Dan fit right in with his tank top on... hahaha

Two days later we all went to the National Zoo. IT WAS HOT! But the misting stations were very nice to walk by. :)

WARNING: IF YOU SEE THIS ANIMAL STAY AWAY!
He decided that eating his own poo, fresh from the source I might add,  was a good idea!
I thought that Jess and I were going to lose our breakfast! SO GROSS!!!

She just wanted inside is all! hahaha
After the zoo we went to Comic Pizza and it was delicious! They even had a beer on the menu from Kalamazoo, Michigan!
